Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at OSF HealthCare
At OSF Saint James, an affiliate site of the Joslin Diabetes Center, your diabetes care is in good hands. If you are hospitalized, you can expect to have your diabetes closely monitored by a team of experts.

Team members visit inpatients who are newly diagnosed or who have special diabetes management issues. Food and nutrition issues are the focus of our dieticians, while our nurse educators provide important education and resources about your diabetes. Working to help you to understand this disease and how to manage it, they will also work closely with your physician to monitor your glucose levels while you are an inpatient as well.
At discharge, your doctor may refer you for follow-up education and management through our outpatient office.
